Sophomore forward was recently named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Team for her performance not only on the field but in the classroom. Tafler led Division II in points (3.32 ppg) and goals scored (1.50 gpg) as the Lakers advanced to the NCAA National Championship.

Tafler was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Third Team after scoring 33 goals and tallying 73 points on the year. Tafler has recorded a 3.73 GPA in the classroom as a Biomedical Science major.

GVSU advanced to the National Championship for the first time in school history and posted a school-best 19-2-1 record.
