Men's Tennis Travels to Drury for First Round Action

Allendale, Mich. - Grand Valley State University's men's tennis team will travel to Springfield, Mo. to take part in the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Regional. The Lakers (19-5) will take on Wayne State (9-9) in their first match at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 9.

Drury and Missouri-St. Louis are the two other teams at the regional site. Those two teams will play at 1 p.m. on Friday, following the GVSU/Wayne State match. The games will take place at the Cooper Tennis Complex and the winners will square off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10.

The Lakers were ranked No. 42 in Division II on March 31 and played Wayne State (ranked No. 43) on April 4. The Lakers came away with a 6-3 victory that day.
