Last season, Callistus Eziukwu was leading the Lakers to a second consecutive NCAA DII Elite Eight appearance. This summer, Eziukwu is working to impress NBA scouts in an attempt to make a roster for next season.

Callistus most recently worked out for the Porland Trailblazers. He has also worked out for Joe Dumars and the Pistons as well as for the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 2008 NBA Draft will take place on Thursday, June 26. After the draft, NBA teams participate in summer leagues where rookies, free agents, and other young players look to earn a spot on the regular season roster.
