Grand Valley State won its 14th consecutive match on Sunday, as Ashley Elsass and Irie Dennis both scored twice in a 6-0 win at Ashland. The No. 1 Lakers have shut out their last nine opponents and have given up just two goals on the season. GVSU (14-0, 9-0 GLIAC) will return home to take on Findlay at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17. #1-Ranked Grand Valley State built a 28-7 halftime lead and never looked back en route to a convincing 41-10 victory over Hillsdale College before the fourth largest crowd in Lubbers Stadium history (14,161). (more)

#7 Grand Valley State pushed its' winning streak to 15 consecutive matches with a 3-0 sweep at Ashland on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 11). The Lakers also recorded their fifth straight 3-0 victory by defeating the Eagles 25-23, 25-19, and 25-18. GVSU improves to 18-2 overall and a perfect 11-0 in GLIAC play, while Ashland falls to 8-10 overall, 4-7 in the conference. (more)

Grand Valley State bounced back from a tough loss with a 7-2 win at Wayne State on Saturday. The Lakers took five singles matches and two doubles wins en route to the win. GVSU (5-1, 5-1 GLIAC) will travel to Findlay for their next match tomorrow at 10 a.m. (more)
